Getting started

Overview

Transposition and reversal is a module in the Table Tools utility of the Legal Productivity Suite for Microsoft Word by Craftware Solutions LLC. It allows you to transpose the column/row content of a table or reverse the order of content in rows or columns.

The Table Tool (ver. 2.1.0) - Transposition

Use case

This module allows you to (i) switch the column and row content in a table (i.e., the columns will become rows and rows will become columns), (ii) reverse the order of rows or (iii) reverse the order of columns. This is useful if you have a column of years that you would like to reorder or a table of records that need to be reversed (i.e., the entries at the bottom should start at the top).

Support

If you require support, please don't hesitate to contact us.

Process

Specifies the transposition or reversal process to perform.

Transpose rows and columns

Creates a new table where the row and column values of the original table become column and row values, respectively, in the new table.

Reverse row order

Creates a new table where the order of the rows are reversed.

Reverse column order

Creates a new table where the order of the columns are reversed.

Workflow options

Provides options that will be taken into account during processing.

Offset value

Specifies the number of rows from the top of the table (e.g., header rows) or columns from the left that shouldn't be reversed. Leave this option at zero if all table content should be reversed without exclusion. This option will appear only for the (i) reverse row order and (ii) reverse column order processes.
